This is a great game to play especially in a big group setting where more responses to the black card played can be gathered. Hilarious and interesting answers are read out together with the questions for full effect. From the game, you get to see the” naughty” side of your friends 😂

Though it can be a little inappropriate and offensive, do take the game with a light heart and just enjoy the experience!

** I heard there is a Singaporean Version of Cards against Humanity and they are called Limpehsays.

3. The Game of Life

Description

It is more of a family game but hey, who is stopping you and your friends from playing it?
It parallels many significant milestones in life. During the game, players get to choose between going straight into the workplace or to go to college for hopes of a better job in the later part of the game, deal with loans, stocks or buying a house, life events such as marriage and starting a family, payday and paying taxes.

Game Requirements

# of Players: 2 to 8 players
Age: 8+
Duration: ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour

Where to buy:

Game experience: 7.5/10

The game is a great way to teach about the most complex subject: life. In life, we are often thrown with choices and have to weigh the pros and cons of them, and also unexpected events that occur here and there which may make us lose our footings in life. The emphasis on the monetary value is something about the game which i dislike but overall, this game is fun and educational.

 4. Ludo Airplane chess

Description

One of the old school games in Singapore!! ( Or so in my case, it is one of my childhood games)
This game is about racing with the other players to get the four tokens(or airplanes) from the yard back to the home base in a clockwise-direction.

Game requirements

Players: 2-4 players
Age: 3+
Duration: differs from number of players as well as the dice luck in rolling a 6 to get the tokens out of the yard

Where to buy

Lazada

Game experience: 10/10

Call me biased but I would give this the highest rating because it is simple and fun at the same time! It is a great game to reminisce about the old childhood times 😊

Last but not least, we could not leave out the ultimate ..

5. Monopoly

Description

Players move around the game-board buying, trading, or selling properties, developing their properties with houses and hotels, and collecting rent from their opponents, with the goal being to drive them all into bankruptcy, leaving one monopolist in control of the economy.

Game requirements

Players: 2-8 players
Age: 5+
Duration: ~ 2 hours but can last more than that

Where to buy

Toys R Us

Game experience: 7/10

To be honest, I do enjoy Monopoly very much at the first hour when we are all still fresh into the game but it does get draggy. Nonetheless, it is a great game to kill time with friends ( and hopefully not kill the relationships)

These are some of the card and board games which i have personally played before and would recommend to play with a group of friends! Do let me know what are some of your favorite board games :)
